Frank Weiss – Video Production Specialist

Frank is a cinematographer and storyteller whose work lives at the crossroads of artistic vision, technical craft, and human connection. From documenting daily life in Afghanistan during his service with the U.S. Air Force to seeing his films screened on Capitol Hill, his journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of honest, visually driven stories.

Largely self-taught, Frank first discovered the power of the lens as a way to connect with people. That passion grew into an obsession with the energy of composition – how shapes, colors, and movement can speak more powerfully than words. For him, cinematography isn’t just capturing images; it’s “the orchestra of the arts,” where every frame carries its own rhythm, harmony, and emotional resonance.

His work has earned recognition early on – including Atlantic City Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 – and has reached audiences on national and international stages. Credits include After Spring, a feature documentary produced by Jon Stewart about the Syrian refugee crisis, which premiered in Washington, D.C. on World Refugee Day, and The Heart of Camden: The Story of Father Michael Doyle, narrated by Martin Sheen, which won Best Short Documentary at the New Jersey Documentary Film Festival in 2021. Frank served as cinematographer and editor on the project, shaping its visual language and narrative flow.

Frank’s philosophy remains simple: show, don’t tell. He gravitates toward underdog stories – voices often unheard – and seeks to let the image itself carry the weight of truth. Whether shooting for nonprofits, brands, or his own passion projects, his aim is the same: to move people through story, told visually with honesty and restraint.

Outside of client work, Frank produces adventure videos with his miniature dachshund, Walter – an unlikely yet spirited co-star whose social media following reflects the same philosophy that drives Frank’s career: big stories can come from small, unexpected places.
