Kayla Gialanella – Communications Associate
Kayla believes everything is better with a laugh, and she brings that same optimism and creativity to her work.
A recent Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing, she is an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
With hands-on leadership experience in marketing, PR, and digital content creation, Kayla is eager to help brands strengthen their presence and build authentic connections with their audiences.
Art is one of Kayla’s true passions – an escape from the real world. Her pieces tend to represent insight into her emotions, inspirations, and fears, constantly challenging her to think differently and outside of the box. This mindset has assisted her beyond her artistic endeavors as she can apply it to storytelling or problem-solving strategies.
Aside from holding a paintbrush, Kayla truly enjoys traveling. Last spring, Kayla had the opportunity to study abroad for three months in Lugano, Switzerland. Here, she expanded her marketing knowledge and explored some of Europe’s most iconic and historic cities.
“Looking back, this experience has allowed me to grow personally, embrace new cultures, work on meaningful projects, and build friendships that I will cherish forever,” Kayla says.
